This weekend Alvaro -- my family's former exchange student -- flew up for a visit from Madrid, Spain. It was mainly work related, as I helped him with his applications to American universities, but we managed to squeeze in some time for fun as well. I took him on a walking tour of London before the rain started, and we went out to dinner at TGI Friday's and then to a club in SoHo. The Internet was down for the entire LSE network for about 24 hours, and us two "frikis" had a hard time figuring out what to do with ourselves. Fortunately we managed alright after going to Starbucks to use the wifi.It was a good weekend!
